My Mortgage is Protected

Last month some telemarketer was hammering me -asking to buy mortgage protection insurance. I think it started when I did a loan/refinance, because I got a flood of junk mail on disability and mortgage protection. I think it’s a scam. I have life insurance already, so why do I need to get it, when I could just get my texas long term disability insurance?
